Maze's Mumblings
Well, the playoff participants have been finalized, it’s just a matter of
positioning now. The 3-T, Demons, Calamity, Victory, Contrib. and Dynasty will
be those teams. This game can be so frustrating. I traded away Sprewell to the
Death who I played against this week. Wouldn’t you know it, he breaks the single
game high with a 124. (33-33-124-33) that 124 looks a little out of place ,
doesn’t it?
We have a Chucker sighting, Tyler and his boys showed up this week and even got a top 6. Its nice to see teams that are out of it still give it their best effort, out of sheer pride. The Pippers were the low team of the week, surely saving it for the Dynasty who is next on the docket.
The Contributors clinched the C-Div and are looking forward to getting his bye in the first round of the playoffs. Wally Z is starting to come alive and just in time as Stoudamire has slowed a little bit. John is on a roll, football post season and now basketball? If he makes the post season in baseball this year, we may never hear the end of it. Rogan continues to struggle and is another team wanting to know when baseball starts.
The Death score 1000, no that’s not a misprint, it’s a 1000. Nobody scored less than a 136, and Sprewell getting a side pot is a nice way to finish the stretch run. When you look at this team on paper, it looks pretty good, too bad it took 2 trades and it happened too late in the season to make a difference. The Dynasty are backing into the playoffs, and this team is about as inconsistent as a team can be. If they guess right on whom to start each week , they are ok. If they guess wrong it will surely be a loss.
The Demons took last weeks verbal pep talk to heart in last weeks Mumbling’s and moved into a 3 way tie in the B-Div. It looks like the trade of Allen to Sea is a blessing for Eric . He has been lighting it up in his new uniform. Dirk also had a nice week , and we know by now that it doesn’t take too much to send the Tre-hawks into the loss column. Walker and Terry have very nice weeks but they got little help from the rest of the boys.
The Calamity are pumped to have Webber back in the line-up. He comes back and is right back in form , he got a 182 this week. Jordan and Stoyo are also playing well and this team is priming itself for a playoff run in their inaugural season. The Victory have seen their lead in the B-Div. disappear like a United stock. Alford is going to have to have Davis,R. bounce back from his 99 this week if they expect to get back to the top of the Div. Brian went on a cruise this week, hoping to take his mind off his recent teams struggles.
The 3-T clinched the A-Div in their first year back in the league after a long hiatus. If Snow can duplicate his 178, they look pretty good. McGrady has been just awesome and is one of the most entertaining players in the league. If he stays healthy this team has a chance to cause a little havoc come the post season. The Intercourts are now just playing out their painful season and since they don’t play baseball or football they have a long time to contemplate their many mistakes they made in the drafting and managing of this team.

The Calamity are now focused and quickly dispose of the Intercourts
The Pippers match up well with the Dynasty and pull off the mild upset
The 3-T clinched the A – Div and put it in coast, they lose to the Victory who are fighting for their lives if he wants a bye
In a who cares game the Death ride their 1000 pt momentum to another victory, this time over the Chuckers
Another who cares game pits the Fury and Tre-Hawks, I’ll give this one to the Fury
A very important game for playoff seating has the Contributors barely beating the Demons , probably by less than 10 pts
