Maze's Mumblings

The worst score-reporting award goes to the Intercourts and the Chuckers this week, quite a few discrepancies. The T-3 take a commanding 5 pt lead in the A-Div., The Victory separate themselves from the pack in the B-Div., and the Contrib. come back to reality in the C-Div. . The Tre-Hawks and Pippers are in the win column and should make the rest of the season an interesting one.

Who says there are no free agents out there? The T-3 found a gem in Griffin who had a nice 167. McGrady stayed healthy this week and his 196 is the proof. The Intercourts had 2 sub 100 players and Shaq had a 136. Their 701 was the 2nd worst score of the week.

The Pippers win! The Pippers win!, and a 2nd best weekly total to boot. A very balanced scoring effort led surprisingly by Gasol’s 195. This team is now healthy and could maker some waves before it is all said and done. The Chuckers already want to know when the baseball draft is. If they don’t pick it up soon they will be out out of it before you know it.

Not having a bench cost the Calamity a chance at an upset bid of the Victory. They had to use Jefferson with 2 games and only got a 37. The Victory’s Cleveland connection had an off week but the rest of the team more than made up for it. They were the top scoring team again with 884. A few eyebrows were raised when Brian chose Marion 13th overall. The Matrix as we all know now is for real and should be a top pick for years to come.

A remarkable win for the Dynasty, considering the circumstances. G Davis missed all 3 games; G Cassell missed 2 of 3 and had an 18, leaving them 2 games short. Hill missed 2 of 4 and only got a 36 in the 2 he played. The subs came through, showing the depth this team has that could come in handy down the stretch. Butler subbed with a 150, and Harpring Chipped in with a 61. The unsuspecting star of the week was Murphy, who had a 194 series. The Death had 5 DNP’s themselves but their subs were of no help. Hilario was a pleasant surprise with a 143, which was the only good thing to come out of this week.

Not sure if would have made a difference but McSwain might have out coached himself. he started Szczerbiak who had 5 games but yet to have proven himself ready to contribute. Wally had only a 67, coupled with Duncan’s sub-par performance of 165, sealed Johns first loss of the season. The Fury’s win keeps hope alive for Rogan, and ever game now is getting to be a must win situation.

Archrivals Erdman and Dotson/Scott went at it this week and it proved to be the game of the week. It went down to the wire with the Tre-Hawks getting a 2 pt win. Al looks forward to the yearly match up with Erdman as they have 5 championships between them. This is one game that lived up to the hype. Brian Scott said it was only a matter of time before they got on track. It looks like Brian’s predictions are coming true, as this was their second straight win.

Record last week 3-3(not my best effort)

Season record 27-9

The 3-T only have 2 games from McGrady , that gives the edge to the Dynasty

The Pippers and Tre-hawks look like a dead even match on paper this week, this should be a single digit win either way, my guess is the Pippers eek this one out.

The Victory should mail this one in, the Intercourts are no match

The Contributors are pissed and will send the Chuckers to 1-6

The Calamity get off their 2 game slide with a win over the Fury

The Death just don’t seem to have much this year, looks like an easy win for the Demons
