STALLIONS WIN!!!!! 2005 Champions!!!!!!!
There is a Monkey walking around Centennial Colorado today as it has firmly jumped off Coach Mike’s back! After enduring several seasons in the League, he finally gets the elusive College Football Fantasy Championship. Congratulations on a very solid campaign! The Stallions were consistent all year, and overcame several tough losses. The Horses exploded in the final game to solidify their place as a deserving and solid Champion! Here is a recap of the final week of a great 2005 fantasy season.
2005 COLLEGE FOOTBALL FANTASY CHAMPIONSHIP GAME
Lightning @ Stallions; 128 – 90 Stallions
In a contest of two worthy opponents, the Stallions run away with the fantasy championship in impressive fashion. The Missouri QB Smith, Brown, and Foster set the pace and sealed the win and put the victory Champagne on ice. The Stallions saved their best game for the Championship, and proved consistency wins Championships in this league. The Lightning can be proud of the season they put together, and showed up on Championship Saturday to play. They were solid top to bottom, but just ran into a very hot Stallion team. Congrats on a fine year Coach Rogan!
WEEK THREE SCRUB BOWL CHAMPION – VENOM 105 PTS
The Venom have Bookend Scrub Bowl wins as they take two out of three to end the season with a feeling of missed opportunity. Coach Jeff’s Squad performed well in the Post Season once again, but still there is a feeling of underachievement. The Squad was there, it just took too long for it all to come together. For the record, Coach Jeff feels extremely happy that his Bro finally got a College Championship, but laments the fact he can’t hold not having one over his head any more J
SCRUB BOWL II, ROUND 2 CHAMPION – GAME COCKS 71 PTS
The Gamers end the season with another Scrub win to put a solid spin on a very strong late season performance. Congrats on a fine year Coach Hackett! You won this contest despite starting two on an off week! J
