Stop the Bleeding!!!!!!!!

What started off as a season of promise had turned into a season of little hope and great despair. Coach Karmazyn has his team off and running with a high scoring 4-0 team. My how things have changed, the Cossacks have dropped 4 of 5 and there seems to be little light at the end of the tunnel. The Manatees are next on the docket, and I have to play without Gonzalez, can you say Crushed. The Luck benefited this week from the demise of the Cossacks , led by WR Thrash , who if I recall just talked up in last weeks report.

If you play the Wapati, go ahead and pencil yourself in for a loss, its inevitable. The S.F. combo is just unstoppable and they always have at least one other player step up to make there score one of the highest in the league each week. They have finished in the top 8 every week this year. The Manatees scored 87 , with Alexander busting out again for 37, and still lost by 21. The Manatees coaches are devastated by the loss , but do have a bright side to look at , they are now in first in the B-div.

The Bandits are wondering why they scored 103 when all they needed was 31. They wasted their best scoring week on the lowly Bombers. WR Harrison, who was an early season trade rumor waiting to happen, has really come on of late and is back in contention for high WR. RB A. Smith who was an afterthought pick at the draft had a nice 19 this week, and N.O. QB’s chipped in for 15 as well.

Maulers win, Maulers win!!!!!!!. We haven’t heard that too much this year. They got nice efforts from Philly QB’s and WR Jackson to top out at 60. When you play the Demons , that is usually quite enough. The Demons blew their load last week against the Cossacks so they didn’t have much left in the reserve tank for the Maulers. Lets all waive a nice goodbye to RB James as there is a good chance he could be lost for the season. MY luck , he’ll come back in our last regular season game , which is when I’ll have to face him.

Welcome back MR Faulk, its like you never left, 28 this week. The Hitmen are quietly having a very nice season and have taken a commanding 8 pt lead in the A div. The destroyers have fallen on hard times and are slowing fading out of the play-off picture. They will need a lot of help to get back in it. The coach from the Destroyers , coach Steve, doesn’t want to be mentioned in the same breath as coach Graham, because of the amount of preparation he puts in compared to the very little Lee does. Well here goes , the 4 bottom scoring teams in the league have both Lee and Steve in it. Sorry Steve , just stating the facts.

The Cows overhaul worked for at least one week. They traded for Davis and got a week from him before he went down again. They were able to edge out the Fish 71-63. Rb Staley finally decided to show up after he was so highly touted going into the draft this year, saying he has been a complete bust was not an exaggeration. The Fish , who were looking to make a trade at the deadline, weren’t able to get any deals done. The one thing they did do was picking up Arizona QB’s , which was their last QB move. This obviously took a few of us by surprise. Having a QB / WR hook up is good if they are both good, but if the WR is the only one who is good , it not the best idea.

Look out , here come the Contributors. They are starting to live up to the hype we have been giving during the year. It’s not to late for this team, so beware. The Death have fallen off the pace and it looks like a scrub bowl is in the not to distant future, especially know that the Hitmen are on the Horizon. It looks like coach Snyder luck ran out with his college team , as he has taken a rather weak squad and has made it to the championship. I guess this is how the fantasy gods are getting him back.

The Machine have taken over the C-div. with a 98-67 victory over the Hummers. Martin, Conway and N.O. kickers led the way. Rb Martin has always been a decent fantasy back, but never to this extreme. Going into the year they drafted a RB to spell Martin, but week after week he is virtually the only RB getting any carries. If Keyshon could ever find the end zone , this team could give the Wapati a game for at least a half anyhow. The Hummers loss has put them in the unenviable position of having to win out if they want to contend for a play-off spot.
