I guess we don’t have any sportswriters in this group, I didn’t get one team that wanted to contribute to the report this week. If you change your mind in the future, let me know I’ll put it in.

Open Mouth , Insert Foot

After criticizing the Destroyers week after week for winning games with the lowest scoring average in the league, the Destroyers break out. I’m sure coach Snyder has had the game circled on his calendar for a few weeks now. Did coach Karmazyn wake up a sleeping giant? Dunn comes off the DL for 22, Carter finally does something, and Bubba even had two TD’s. Coach Karmazyn wasn’t totally disappointed in his team’s effort after they got the extra point. What he is concerned about was the fact that Muhammad only had two catches for eight yards. Karmazyn is quickly putting this game behind him and is not going to dwell on the past. Archrival Dotson is on the horizon and the team needs to refocus.

Damn, the Maulers coach Merv, offered to pay for food at next years draft if they went the season winless. Unfortunately that’s not going to happen. The Maulers held on Monday night by the skin of their teeth, 63-61.The Myers boys were beside themselves after benching George and seeing him go off for 14 points. Glenn wasted not time making himself present as a Mauler but he too was on the bench. What saved the day for the Maulers was off week pick-up , the Detroit QB’s. They somehow managed 23 points, and now they can finally say they made a right move this year. The Cows are extremely disappointed and are still wondering what happened to Robinson this week. To make matters worse they just missed the extra point.

A quote from Steve Snyder " its better to be lucky than good" That applies to the Hummers this week. A sub Te-K-Def. and a 0 from the QB and RB and only 50 total, and somehow win 50-47.Tyler and Sanders would like to thank coach Graham for benching WR Westbrook and his TD. I’m sure that should make e the coaching blunder of the week. That’s 3 losses in a row for graham and I don’t see things getting any better in the future.

I can’t figure this team out, the Luck can’t make up their mind whether they arte a juggernaut, or a cellar dweller. They get 91 this week with Minn. QB’s getting 31 and RB Holmes getting 23. Hakim and Poole are the WR’s and they still get a 91, go fugure. The Death don’t know what they need to do, they get a well-balanced 76 and still lose by 15. Jeff, could you get your kicker Janakowski to give my kicker some of that date rape drug he uses, it seems to have helped him this year.

Ok Ratt you can stop crying now. Alexander is this teams savior. If he can maintain his 2 TD a week pace, this team could be hard to beat. Nothing like getting first round numbers out of a late round pick to help out a little. The Manatee coaches want it to be known that Buckhalter is up for grabs for a decent WR or TE. The on paper only team, the Contributors have fallen again. The Tampa Def . was though to be a steal when he drafted him, has not lived up to expectations. If you act now they can still be had in a trade. Trader John is listening to all offers at this time.

The S.F. QB’s to Owens hook-up continues to smoke. These two combines for 70 points and could have beaten 11 teams by themselves. The Wapati are taking control of numerous side pots. Could a repeat be in the making? What's more amazing is the fact that Owens could have beaten his opponent The Hitmen by himself. The Hitmen didn’t have one player in double figures in scoring. Phillups was out of town, so he can blame this sorry showing on Passarella.

The Fish barely escape a nice over-coaching move in benching Freeman for Wayne, and get a 65-57 win and move into first in the c-div. Too bad they won, I would have enjoyed ripping them on that one. The RB tandem of Smith and Dillon had 29 and the Giants defense continues to impress. The Bandits are on a non-characteristic two game losing streak, and lose another point to the Cossacks. The Bandits defense continues to be a problem. They picked up Cleveland and got a –4. Will the search continue again this week to solve this dilemma?

The Demons went into the game with two back-up receivers and it cost them the game. The double goose egg gave them a 47-56 defeat to the hands of the Machine. Releasing TE Cleeland who had two TD’s didn’t make this loss any easier to take. RB Martin for the Machine couldn’t be any more consistent this year. You can literally pencil him in for 14-16 each week. The Machine and Destroyers both have 10 points and face off next week in what I’m sure will be a 4 star game. I might have to give this line some extra thought
