Feel the Pain week 17
Please don’t forget about the post season pool. You already have one entrée fee paid for. If you would like another, you can have it deducted from any winnings you may have coming. If you don’t have any winnings coming back, and you want an extra entrée, get me $20 as soon as possible. Spread the word on the pool to anyone you like , as this pool is open to anyone.
In the playoff scrub bowl, the Destroyers scored 88 and easily out distanced the second place team, the Pain who had 73. Bulger had 26 and Holt had 24 to lead the way.
In the regular scrub bowl, the Manatee cracked the win column , after a few second place finishes. Ratt finished the season with a nice round 100. Not a bad way to go out.
In the Champ against Champ game the Lemurs from FFL 2 beat the Filiricans 74-61. Congratulations obviously goes out to this team as they just added a nice chunk of change to the 1st place money they already had. I heard a comment , from an FFL team bragging about FFL2 winning for the 3rd year in a row. I got a philosophy on that. FFL 2 should win most years, and I’ll tell you why. It is considered common knowledge that there are more hard core teams in FFL 1. In FFL 2 , there are a few stacked teams and a lot of mediocre teams because not as many are hard core. In FFL 1, everyone is hardcore and it is harder to assemble a juggernaut. There are 4 teams in FFL 2 that play in FFL 1 are 3 of those made the playoffs. 2 of those made the semi’s, and one made the championship. That alone speaks for itself.
Plus we all know that week 17 is a joke and a lot of luck goes into winning , when so many players are not playing. This game was instituted for the fun of it , but to state that FFL2 is better league is a little off base. Relax Ray, I’m just busting your balls.
