The Dynasty Report          week 13

The playoff teams are set, two from each division. In the A the 3-T have clinched the div. but are still battling for a bye, with Dynasty clinching a W-C. In the B, the Calamity and Fury are tied , and they play each other this week. The winner wins the div, with a chance at a bye, and the loser is a W-C. In the C, the Pippers have clinched the div., and a bye, with the Contributors getting the W-C.

The Calamity have 2 starters on the DL and the Dynasty choked and lost all chances of a div. title. The Calamity will get Carter and Artest back this week, just in time for the playoffs. The Dynasty  try to get cute and make a few moves this week , and they all backfired. Q. Brown = stiff, Sura = stiff, had to use a game from Curry = stiff. Coach K, stop trying to get cute and just play the game. To compound matters , Mashburn just went DL , just when he started to show his old form. The timing couldn’t have been any worse, for coach K. Scowering the free-agents has been a norm for this team this year.

The Intercourts didn’t score well, but they will take the win just to save some face. The Death have now officially concentrated their efforts to putting a quality baseball team on the field. Walker had 5 games this week and had a 76 series, and to think I tried to trade for this guy earlier in the year.

I thought the 3-T were ripe for a loss , having to face the hot Demons. The Demons let me down as Dampier’s 96 and Stoudamire ‘s 86 were this teams demise. Both of those players have been averaging in the 140’s easy the last month or so. The 3-T still have some issues with their team as well, AI can’t stay on the court, and this team can be beat without a healthy AI.

The Tre-Hawks won for the second week in a row, it was against the Victory, but a win is a win. Both of these teams have lost interest completely and aren’t even managing their teams, which truly is a shame. The lack of effort affects the whole league. Brian even started a guy who averages about 10 minutes a game and got 28 for the week. Needless to say that is why they lost this week.

The Contributors got the win this week over the Chuckers 745-707. If John thinks a 745 is going to get in done in the playoffs, he will be in for a rude awakening. We know this team can score , so for his sake he has to hope that they got this stinker out of their system. The Chuckers lost this one when Kidd was a DNP all week, and the backup only had 2 games.

The Pippers continue to be the class of the league, and easily manhandles the talented Fury team 883-845. The Pippers will get a well-deserved bye and will get a chance to kick back and get his team primed for a championship run. The Fury’s stay at the top of the B was a short one, as they now fall back into a tie with the Calamity. This week’s game against the Calamity couldn’t be any bigger.
