Dynasty Report  Week # 7

As usual the Dynasty brings out the best in their opponents, as their high points against average can attest. The Tre-Hawks who in all honesty don’t have much this year scored their second highest total of the year for that team. Strangely enough, their 843 finished 7th and didn’t even get a top 6. To make matters worse, the Dynasty scored 873 and sent the Tre-Hawks down for the 6th time of the year. Free-agent pickup Tinsley had a very nice 128 series while averaging only about 25 minutes a game. If he ever gets his minutes up he could be a steal

Poor Chuckers, they had a great opportunity to finally get in the win column, but a coaching blunder cost them the win. Ming , who has been a big disappointment found him on the Chuckers bench this week with a 180 series. If he were in the lineup, a win as well as a top 6 would have been the result. The Death got a much need win with Shaq out hurt. If the Death can keep pace with him out, they can be a dangerous team down the stretch.

We have an Intercourts sighting this week. They finally lived up to my pre season expectations and put up a 907 against the Victory. Wouldn’t you know it though; they finally show their potential and James twists his ankle. Tough break for the Victory, they finally have a decent scoring week and it just so happens to be on our highest scoring week as a league so far this season. The cut off was a staggering 847.

Oh how the mighty have fallen. We no longer have an undefeated team. Not only did the Calamity come back to reality, they had the next to lowest score of the week. To compound their problems, Davis and Carter are now banged up. The Calamity’s weak bench, which hasn’t been an issue, yet might now come into play. Not bidding on all the past quality waiver wire players could come back to haunt them. The Contributors are the team to have the bragging rights this week. Kiralenko and Marrion were both over 200, but Kiralenko watched the last game from the bench, giving John a knot in his stomach hoping it’s not serious.

Just when we thought the Demons were back from the dead, they put up a clunker, 774, lowest in the league. John and his Fury squad took advantage of the Calamity loss and make up some ground in the B-Div. . Johns new found confidence is coming at the right time as they play the Calamity this week.

Last but not least, the Pippers put up a new season high for points scored, 1022. That is a great score, so I checked where that compares to past years. What I found was a 1057 by Dotson’s former team, The Bomb Squad in the 2000-2001 season. Go check those numbers out in our archives, as they were done when we still only had 5 guys in our lineup. The 3-T now have fallen back into a 3-way tie in the very tough A-Div.

Record last week 5-1

Season to Date 29-13

Very important Div games this week,

The Shaqless Death should not be enough to match up with the Dynasty

The Victory are still reeling from the Wallace for Francis trade, which could haunt them for some time. The 3-T get back on the winning track

The Fury will take advantage of the Calamity’s new injuries and will close some more ground.

Tre-Hawks have 1 win, the Chuckers have 0. Lets get the Chuckers in the win column for a change

Terrible timing for the Intercourts to lose James as the Highest scoring team, the Pippers are next on the docket. Pippers win going away.

I’m going out on a very flimsy limb here. I’m going to predict a huge upset of the Demons over the Contributors.
