Feel the Pain week 4

Week 4 is in the books and what we thought was going to be a season of parity is not quite turning out that way. The Destroyers have a 2 pt lead in the A, the Maulers a 4 pt lead in the B, the Bandits a 4 pt lead in the C, and the Pride a 3 pt lead in the D. The rest of the league better pick it up if they don’t want this season to become a rout. This week was an extremely low scoring week as we went from a record high 77 cut off for the top 8 to a low 58 this week for the top 8. The first week of Division games is this week and we all know how important those are.

The Pain need to take some painkillers as another loss has them doubled over in agony. After a hot 2-0 start, this team is reeling and doesn’t know where to turn. The bandits had an easy time of it this week with a 58-42 win. Al was able to get the last top 8, which is always a bonus. Tomlinson was his usual self getting a 15 and Denver Def was solid again with a 10.

The Filiricans are now the highest scoring team in the league, and if I didn’t tell you, I’m sure Johnny would have. This team is very confident right now and needs to be brought back to reality . Hopefully the Beach Bums can quite them this week. Do you think the Death are questioning taking Vick so high? I would say he is, this guy is more hype than talent. If he played like his new TV commercial and took off out of the pocket more, maybe he would be worth something. Oh, I forgot, the Filiricans won 104-47.

The Maulers win again and have plans of getting their name on the trophy for their second year in a row.  Martin has definitely found the fountain of youth, and is playing better than he has in years. He might already have more TD’s than he did all of last year. The Bums might want to slip Bettis a mickey before the game as he continues to take the glory away from Staley. Tenn def had a –2 this week and were quickly given their walking papers. In the end the maulers cruised to a 61-34 win.

The Destoyers just can’t seem to be slowed down. Each week someone steps up and has a good game. Foster and Johnson made themselves heard this week as well as newly acquired Atlanta Def. The Elephants dropped to 2-2 as their newly acquired Def , Oakland got a 1. Mcnabb finally looked human this week and it reflected in the Elephants score . Their 58 did however get them a tie for the last top 8.

Manatees win!! Manatees Win!! After getting 2 last place scores and a next to last place score, they won and had the 3rd highest score. Something had to give in this game, as the Manatee and the Doggy Style were both winless. The Doggy just doesn’t seem to have the magic this year. They continue to make moves and do their best, but this year their best is just not good enough.

The Wapati had a low scoring barnburner this week that come down to Monday night. The Wapati had a 8 point lead with Gonzalez and the Gangreen has Stover. Stover came out smoking with a 50 yarder to start the game. Thing looks bright at this point, but Sorry QB Boler could not get them into Fg position again the rest of the game. The Wapati proceeded to hold on 51-48.

Week 4 and no wins for the Fish. Someone please go to Waynes house and remove any sharp objects. The biggest disappointment for the Fish has to be Porter. All the pre season hype had this guy primed for a big year, but some rookies seem to be stealing some of his thunder. The Contributors get a much-needed win to stay within striking distance of the Pride. Moulds showed a glimpse of his potential as a premier fantasy WR. We all know this guy has talent, if only Bledsoe could find him more often. Suggs came back this week and bolstered the Offense with a nice 9.

The Machine had no one get into double figures this week and their 39 showed it. The pride on the other hand had 6 players in double figures, guess who won this one. When Caldwell gets a 17 against you, you know it’s not your day. Sturken is not happy as his partner in college, Karmazyn has them at 1-4 and already out of it. His partner in pro, Uhl has them at 1-3 and on the verge of being out of it.

Coaching blunder of the week : Gangreen benching Hilliard who had a 3, both of his WR’s had a 0. They lost by 3. They would have won with the home field advantage.
