Week #3
The scores were low this week with the Filiricans taking the top spot with 73. Plenty of injured players out there and disappointing starts for some quality players. Add it all up and after just 3 weeks we do not have an undefeated team. Welcome to parity in the UAL Fantasy League!
Here is a look at the week 3 action:
Plague 67
Wapati 52
Bill/John take the #2 spot this week with a
win over the Wapati. Tomlinson and George had nice weeks with 17 and 11
respectively. A decent effort by Boyd/Butch's team but a 0 from Moulds and no
player scoring more than 9 was to much to battle back from.
Cows 58
Elephants 44
Tom gets the win thanks to solid games from
Lelie and Hasselbeck who combined for 25. Tom/Joel get nice games from Ramsey
and Ricky but 3 zeros was their downfall.
Machine 60
Contributors 33
Frank/Jim get win 1 and a top 3 finish
thanks to a big 27 point game from Miami Def and a David Boston sighting and 7
points. Boston promptly followed up the week by getting suspended for next week,
how appropriate for this malcontent. John/Eric suffer loss one thanks to a
overall bad effort from their team. On a positive note, they got 5 points from
QB Kitna, 5 more than starter McNabb has this year.
Doggy Style 57
Beach Bums 27
Jeff/Scott get 20 from KC Def and 10 from
Johnson, more than enough over the hapless Bums. Alford gets zero effort from
his team posting a season low 27 points.
Maulers 58
Fish 48
Merv/Mike get a big game from WR Johnson
with 22 as they handle the Fish. All is not well in Maulerville as Portis
remains banged up and a key to their season. Wayne/Rich drop to 1-2 in part to
the zeros they got from Hearst and Keyshawn, who was promptly dropped this week.
Filiricans 73
Manatees 50
Johnny/Matt are the top dog this week as
they get a solid team effort with Hilliard leading the way with 18. Rich suffers
loss one after Bledsoe post a -2 point game. Holmes remains the top player this
year the Manatees with 23.
Death 59
Bandits 48
The Commish gets the win thanks to Tampa Bay
Def with 21. Death RB's were efficient but still need to step up the WR
performance, after dropping Wayne and his big week. Al drops to a very
uncharacteristic 0-3 as the injury bug keeps dropping the Bandit players. This
week it was Faulk who went down and will be out for some time, not what Al
needed as he looks to get back on track.
Destroyers 51
Cossacks 45
Steve gets the win as Robinson leads the way
with a 14 point game. The Destroyers are still waiting for the Indy connection
to click, and when they do watch out. Maze/Mac get a -1 from Henry and a zero
from Dillon thanks to injuries to both.
