Week #2
The week saw a record breaking performance by Starfish RB Lewis, but not enough for a win for the Starfish. The CRMO were the lone team to advance to 2-0 with two top 8 finishes. The score reporting has been solid so far this year, many thanks to everyone for their help with that. Don't forget this week starts the bye weeks, make sure you replace those players by giving me multiple choices just in case.
Here is a look at the week 2 action:
Connection 98
Chieftains 79
Chris/Scott get the top performance of the
week led by WR Jackson with 26 and RB Henry with 19. Harry gets the loss, but
gets a top 3 finish thanks to nice games from Brady and Williams.
Dynamite 50
Bullets 44
Larry gets the win with a 6 point win over
the Bullets. The Dynamite were led by James with 11 and Johnson with 10.
Bill/John have a very mediocre week as three players had 7, but that was about
it. A banged up McNair missing time was the crushing blow to the Bullets.
Steamrollers 57
Lemurs 53
Al/Boyd get the narrow in thanks to big day
from kicker Vanderjagt with 18. Jeff/Ray get solid days from Faulk and Ward, but
a zero from Booker was the backbreaker.
Death 79
Lunatics 50
Jeff/Steve get a big day from WR Coles and
their Baltimore Def with 21 each as the turn back the Lunatics. Corey gets 21
from Bledsoe but very little from moss and the rest of the squad.
Razor Clams 81
Vikings 49
Ron gets his defending champs back on track
with a 2nd high score of the week and an easy victory over the Vikings.
Hasselbeck and McAllister were the offensive stars. Alford's Vikings welcome
Joey H back to earth after last weeks big game and are still waiting for
Tomlinson to break out.
Club CC Double
Stuffed 36
Troy/Trent get the in and the top 8 as they
beat the Stuffed thanks to big days from Green and Burress. Fran/Billy are still
waiting for McNabb to show up, as is the rest of the greater Philadelphia
region.
CRMO 77
Kingpins 37
JR gets another big day from Holmes and
plenty of help from the rest of the team, while Boyd Sr's team got a surprising
zero from Gannon and very little support from the remaining Kingpin players.
Dragons 78
Starfish 64
Steve/Marv overcome the big game by Starfish
RB Lewis as they post a solid 78 point week. The Dragons were led by Toomer with
16 and Seattle Def with 26. Good news for Brian, Lewis has the top game of the
year so far as he sets a new NFL rushing record. Bad news for Brian, he started
Porter who is out for a few months after surgery. So it was a loss and a
mulligan for the team.
