Week #4
I will summarize week #4 in the college with two words: RASHAUN WOODS! Aldoggies WR Rashaun Woods sets NCAA records with his magical 7 TD reception game and posts a staggering 68 point game! Yes, a SIXTY-EIGHT POINT GAME! Woods outscored 7 teams in the league, all by himself! All at once.........WOW!
Here is a look at the week 4 action:
Maulers 101
Pride 71
Mike gets win number 1 with a big day from
QB Fields who was the other half of the magical OKST 7 TD game. Jones of VT
chipped in 29 as the Maulers look to get back into the playoff race.
Larry/Harry's watched their RB Bell of OKST stand idle as the passing game ran
up the big day, and then saw their Pitt Def get lit up by Toledo (umm, yes
Toledo). The -3 from the Defense was the final straw that gave the Maulers win
#1.
Elephants 66
Death 54
Tom gets a win thanks to a big day by Alexis
at RB with 24. Standeford chipped in 17 and Jackson had 13 to move the Elephants
to 3-1. The Death are now 0-4 and have officially been turned over to the
Commish's 4 year old daughter Leanne. The Commish decided to bench Jabari Davis
and finally healthy Bruce Perry. These two responded with nearly 35 points
between them, while the Commish's choice to start Sanders and McCoy combined for
3. The Commish is relegated to handing out towels this week.
Aldoggies 115
Titans 87
Not much else to say about Al/Russ' team, it
was way to much Rashaun Woods this week. Of course Woods is off this coming
week, so no time to let up for the Aldoggies. The Titans head man Jeff was
counting TD passes in his sleep Saturday........1 TD pas to Woods, 2 TD passes
to Woods, 3 TD passes to Woods...... Good news is the Titans had a top 3 finish
and next up is the dismal Death, so win 2 is not far away for the Titans.
Stingrays 63
Dragonfarts 60
Merv moves his Stingrays to 3-1 as the get
the narrow win of the Dragonfarts. Shaud Williams lead the way with 19 for the
'Rays. The remaining Williams boys scored 18 combined for an impressive 37 point
week for the Williamses! There has to be another Williams worth anything out
there, go get um Merv! Dave's team falls to 0-4 despite a big week from Anderson
of CSU. A 0 from Wilford and Houston was the back breaker for the Dragonfarts.
Redhawks 79
Cossacks 55
Carey/Brian get the win thanks to a huge day
from OU Defense with 31. There was multiple return TD's for the OU Def, and that
combined with a fine 19 point game from RB Ross was nearly enough by itself.
Maze's Cossacks drop to 2-2 after a disappointing 55 point effort. Texas QB led
the team with 19, but no one else really stepped and back to .500 the Cossacks
go.
Cows 59
Contributors 58
In the closest game of the week, Tom's Cows
Moo their way to a win, despite starting Nebraska Def who was off. It was RB
Benson who stepped up big time for the Cows with 31, to offset the coaching
blunder. Gotta love making a mistake and the players covering your exposed
behind! John/Brett get disappointing loss #1 as they couldn't take advantage of
the opportunity the Cows gave them. On a positive note, these two East Coast
owners managed to weather the storm with minimal damage, if you call no power,
no internet, no TV and lots of trees to clean up minimal damage. Good luck with
the clean up!
Good luck to everyone in week #5! I am outta here......
