Bomb Squad Report    Playoffs Round 1 & 2

Playoffs Round 1

The Chuckers advance to the 2nd round with a 770 to 727 victory over the Fury. Chris Webber lead the way with 219 points while his counterpart Mr. T Wallace could only muster an 85 for the week. The Chuckers will meet the Bomb Squad in the second round. The Fury made a nice run but it wasn’t enough to make it to the second round. They played sleeper last year with a victory over the heavily favored Bomb Squad but no such luck this year.

The Virgins handle the Bugeaters with a 842 to 694 pounding. The Virgins handle their first man rather easy. I think the Virgins shook Coach Boyd so hard it might have dislodged that horseshoe. The Virgins face a real test this week when they face the Creeping Death. The MVP for the Virgins has to be Garnett with surprise player Paul Peirce, they combined for 448 points.

Playoffs Round 2

The Virgins are no more! There is an APB out for Coach Snyder! The Creeping Death totally destroyed the Virgins 976 to 717. Now that was a serious hammering! I don’t think the Virgins will be walking for a couple of weeks after that whuppin! The Death are flexing their muscle and pounding their chest waiting for their next opponent. I must congratulate the Virgins for a hell of a first season, Divisional winner and making it to the second round of the Playoffs. Coach Alford has his baseball fantasy fee paid off already!

The Bomb Squad avoid another playoff debacle by squeaking out a 761 to 732 victory over the Chuckers. Coaching Dotson was sweating bullets after the first two days. Webber and Odom started the week off with a bang. They combined for 185 on the very first day and put the Bomb Squad behind the eight ball early and with McDyess getting hurt and scoring a 2 on Wednesday the Bomb Squad looked doomed! But Andre Miller picked up the slack with a season high 169. The Bomb Squad advance to meet the Creeping Death. Coach Dotson will need a MIRACLE to win the championship. They go into the championship without their All-star McDyess and also without McGrady who got hurt Tuesday. The engraving has starting for Coach Snyder as it looks like back to back titles for him. Jeff obviously was the brains of the Snyder Team last year. And it also does not hurt to sit next to Coach Dotson in the draft and ask him his opinion on players…. How can you go wrong? Hey Jeff I had to pat myself on the back a bitJ
